NOTO 字型

在 chrome 中把所有中英文都轉成 noto demilight，效果不錯，會一直用下去 -w-。奇怪的是我修改英文用的字體才能順利改變中文字型。

字體可能有點模糊，解決方法是放大。

入坑了 ...

二月開始港台 google play 能正式下載 puzzle & dragon 這遊戲。好奇心下玩了數天便開始迷上了。到現在已經是 152 天新手。

Rank 升得較快的原因主要是我 5 至 7 月玩得較兇。三月頭幾乎已把整篇 thesis 打好，在沒有新研究工作的情況下便把心力投放在 pad 這遊戲上。

以下是一些心路歷程（警告：不吸引的）：

找到工作！

快畢業，為了應負來年 (玩樂的) 消費必須找工作。嘗試到補習社應徵，但面試時知道 job nature 後失去任何興趣。例如，這份工作需要我把妨間的 exercise 都做一遍，要能夠說出一些名校近年的出題方向，等。來年我還要再考一次 toefl 及 gre，不想把時間無無謂謂地花在自己沒興趣的事情上。明明我已經知道解題方向，實在沒有意願落手把題目都做出來。

而且，我深信自己有能力在數學修為上去得更遠，也不想漸漸變得 proud of 有「nice trick」去解決中學公開試的「難題」。在科大 IA 中有已經被中學教育塗毒，在數學修為變得完全無能的人 (不斷鑽研以前 AL pure math 試題的問題，及放到 tutorial 中教，遇到大學數學 linear algebra 或 elementary analysis 等一概迴避)。我害怕補習會令自己的數學不進反退。

回到標題，在校外找工作失意後，便嘗試尋找校內的。這一年 IA 老屎忽奇多，只額外請一名 IA 回來，最後毫無意外地請了來年 department 唯一的女 IA ── 李星。沒法子，我不可能變性，所以便從找教育工作轉為找研究工作。寄了好幾封 email 致不同的 professor。最快回覆我的是 Tim Leung (梁承裕教授)，他可以給我一份半年的 RA 職位，如果真的有興趣才繼續做下去。非常感謝，非常感謝！

終於，暫時生計是安定了。在知道 RA 職位 offer 有了後，即日便到補習社面第二次試。這次心態輕鬆得多，因為補習這份工作已經是我次要的。討論一番後有望順道 part-time 在那裏補習，因 RA 的工作時間實在太有彈性了...，比 TA 時更間有彈性！

[P&D/CG] 究進青龍！

[Beamer] 有用的小技巧

快要 defense，presentation 決定採用 beamer 形式裝作 power point (原因嘛，簡單方便快捷！)。

技巧 1. 一般人對 beamer 感到最厭煩的就是每一個 \frame{} 裏都要加上 \frametitle{}，其作用有點類似文章的 section。漏掉的話會整欄空掉，蠻奇怪的。以下一段 code 能夠在接着的 frame 中不斷承繼上一個 frame 的 title (直至令立 title 為止)：

技巧 2. 若數式以 align/align* environment 進行等號對齊，用家會發現在 "\\" 後加上 \pause 會出現錯誤。beamer 這先天的缺點有以下的 solution：
